Maintenance versus detail
A maintenance visit holds the residence at standard: surfaces, floors, kitchens, baths, glass at eye level, and reset of daily-use spaces. A deep detail resets the standard itself.
Detail work reaches what maintenance intentionally leaves alone: baseboards and casings, door tops and frames, high millwork, vents and returns, light fixtures within safe reach, cabinet faces and interiors where authorized, appliance interiors, and interior glass throughout.
Where the hours actually go
Kitchens and primary baths consume the majority of detail labor. Cabinetry edges, hardware, grout lines, glass enclosures, fixture bases, and appliance gaskets are slow work that cannot be rushed without damaging finishes.
When to schedule one
Most clients begin with a deep detail as the first Blu Lux service, then schedule it seasonally, before significant entertaining, and after events or extended guest stays.
