Cadence follows use
A fully occupied estate with children, pets, and regular entertaining typically requires weekly or twice-weekly maintenance simply to hold presentation. A lightly used residence may hold beautifully on a bi-weekly cadence with a quarterly deep detail.
The question worth asking is not how often the home should be cleaned, but how often it must be returned to standard. Those are different questions and they produce different schedules.
Zoning a large residence
Large properties rarely need every room at every visit. Blu Lux commonly divides an estate into daily-use zones maintained every visit, secondary zones on rotation, and formal or guest zones addressed on a defined cycle and before events.
That structure keeps labor where it produces visible result while ensuring no space silently falls out of rotation for months.
Seasonal detail
Even a well-maintained estate benefits from scheduled deep detail two to four times per year: light fixtures, high millwork, vents, cabinet interiors, and interior glass systems that maintenance visits intentionally do not reach every week.
