Dust arrives in stages
Construction dust does not settle once. It falls out of HVAC systems, cabinet interiors, and structural cavities for days after the trades leave. A single cleaning pass on a newly completed home will look excellent for roughly forty-eight hours and then disappoint everyone.
This is why Blu Lux scopes post-construction work in passes: a rough removal pass, a detail pass, and a final presentation pass timed close to walkthrough or move-in.
Where damage happens
The highest-risk moment in a new home's life is its first cleaning. Adhesive residue, paint flecks, grout haze, and stickers are frequently removed with blades, solvents, or abrasive pads by crews unfamiliar with the finish underneath.
Blu Lux performs surface-safe residue removal where appropriate and escalates anything that requires a specialty trade rather than experimenting on a new installation.
Coordination with the builder
Timing matters as much as method. Cleaning too early wastes a pass; cleaning too late compresses the schedule before walkthrough. Blu Lux plans passes with the builder or project manager against the actual completion sequence.
